The language as a music instrument, as a presence, as a resistance, as a friend, as a guide, as an anarchistic and musical “water”, as a substance which flows into deep layers of the human existence
- the dancing body of the language.
This relationship to the language leads Mansoureh Aalaii to collaborate with the compositor and Yangqin musician Yaping Wang. Together they elaborate an interplay between words, sentences, rhythm, the timbre of the voice of Persian language, silences and sounds of the Yangqin instrument. The performance takes place in front of an audience who enters the text not by understanding its words but by its music.
